Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is an adventure game from Purple Lamp Studios and the remake of the fan-favorite Disney Epic Mickey. The story begins when Mickey accidentally ruins a model of a Disneyland-like world created for forgotten characters called Wasteland. He then gets pulled into this world and embarks on a Herculean journey to save Wasteland and redeem himself. As you take on the role of Mickey, all you have is a magic paintbrush.
Using either paint or thinner, you can influence the outcome of the story. As you move through various levels, you can befriend iconic characters like Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, collect virtual pins, and complete side quests. Plus, with improved controls comes additional moves such as dash, ground pound, and sprinting. This Disney game offers high replay value with multiple endings influenced by your choices.
The enhanced platformer features a modern overhaul to the epic Wasteland adventure. It boasts state-of-the-art 3D graphics and precise controls, allowing a smooth gameplay experience. However, fans might be disappointed by the lack of significant new content. While the game offers three times the collectibles and a few new puzzles, these additions might not be enough to win over those who didn't enjoy the original story or gameplay elements.
